The number of corona patients crossed 47 thousand.



In Uttarakhand, the number of corona infections received daily for the last one week is less than one thousand. While the number of patients recovering is higher than the infected. In the last 24 hours, eight corona patients have died in the state and 764 have been found infected. At the same time, 813 patients have been sent home after recovering.

According to a bulletin issued by the Health Department, on Sunday, 11042 samples have been found negative. Dehradun district has the highest number of 241 corona patients. 139 patients were found in Haridwar, 90 in Pauri, 89 in Udham Singh Nagar, 50 in Nainital, 36 in Uttarkashi, 25-25 in Tehri, Chamoli and Champawat, 16 in Rudraprayag, 11 in Pithoragarh, nine in Almora and eight in Bageshwar district. Huh.

Eight corona patients have died in the last 24 hours in the state. In AIIMS, two infected in Rishikesh, four in Max Hospital, one in Sushila Tiwari Medical College and one in HNB Base Hospital Srinagar have been infected by Damatora.

There have been a total of 574 deaths in the state. 813 patients were discharged on Sunday. In all, a total of 35462 patients have been cured. The number of active patients in the state is 10799. Those who are undergoing treatment.
Corona: Most cured patients in 28th week
In the last seven days in the state, there have been fewer cases of infected with the Covid test. According to the statistics of the Health Department, as the number of patients recovering, deaths have also increased. For the first time in the state, the maximum number of patients has been healthy in a week.

In the state, 196 days i.e. 28 weeks have passed since the corona transition period. A total of 84664 samples were examined from September 13 to September 19. In which 9749 infected patients were found and 6942 patients were cured. At the same time, 76 patients died.

But in the 28th week from 20 to 26 September, there has been a decrease in sample investigations and infected cases. There have been more cured patients and deaths. In comparison to the previous week, sample investigation 73895, active cases 6196, cured patients 7676 and 88 patients have died.

So far, 6.45 lakh samples have been investigated in the state. More than 46 thousand corona patients have been found in it. However, more than 34 thousand patients have overcome corona infection.

35 metric tons of oxygen needed daily in Uttarakhand
For the treatment of corona infected patients in the state, 35 metric tonnes of oxygen is required daily depending on the bed capacity. Currently, 16.58 MT of oxygen is being consumed daily in the dedicated Covid Hospital and Covid Health Center. The department has 82.77 MT of oxygen available in stock.

The number of corona patients in the state is continuously increasing. So far, the number of infected has exceeded 47 thousand. The government and health department have made adequate arrangements to treat the infected. The government has increased the oxygen-rich beds in view of problems in breathing for the infected.

8037 oxygen cylinders and one thousand oxygen concentrators are available for Corona patients at authorized Covid hospitals and Covid Health Centers. 1500 A type cylinders and one thousand B type oxygen cylinders have been sent by the Health Department to the districts. The process of purchasing 750 A type and 800 B type cylinders is in progress. The state has received 700 ventilators from the center and 45 from the Tata group.

Secretary Health Amit Singh Negi says that arrangements have been made to get oxygen, beds, medicines for prevention of corona infection. The capacity of oxygen beds is being increased in Covid Care Centers. So that seriously infected patients can get immediate oxygen facility.
