Chief Minister Shri Tirath Singh Rawat reviewed the implementation of the announcements made for various assembly constituencies of Pauri district at the Secretariat on Monday. While reviewing the Vidhan Sabha-wise announcements, the Chief Minister directed that the departmental officers should attend the review meetings with full details of the schemes. It is absolutely necessary to make the plans visible on the ground to fulfill the public expectations, so special attention should be paid to the implementation of the schemes.
The Chief Minister while reviewing the implementation of the plans of the Srinagar Assembly constituency directed that Srinagar is the center of Garhwal region as well as the main destination of the Yatra route. He directed to take a reasonable decision soon after studying, reviewing and after extensive deliberations about all the aspects related to making Srinagar Municipal Corporation. Along with this, the Chief Minister directed to expedite the construction of parking and auditorium in Srinagar, taxi stand at Paithani and Chaubatta, availability of drinking water for NITs and construction of external roads. The Chief Minister also agreed to include Kamleshwar, Dhari Devi, Devalgarh, Kandoliya and Kyunkaleshwar temples of this region in Khirsu Pauri tourist circuit of Srinagar.
The Chief Minister gave approval for Juledi Gram Panchayat Drinking Water Scheme and Kadathi Kothar Pumping Drinking Water Scheme, construction of tube wells in Bagiwadi, parking construction at Neelkanth and construction of building of R. College Devikhet under Yamkeshwar Vidhan Sabha. The Chief Minister gave approval for construction of artificial lake at Sakmunda in Lansdowne, construction of mini stadium in village inside Rikhni Khal, Chabad pumping scheme, pumping drinking water scheme at Rikhni Khal, flood protection works on Plain river and Mandal river at Dugadda and Ramisera. The Chief Minister asked to start construction work without delay by selecting land for the grand martyr memorial and sports ground in the name of Maha Vir Chakra winner Shri Jaswant Singh Rawat in his native village.
The Chief Minister directed to prepare an action plan for the development of Sita Mata Temple at Falaswadi, Kot block of Pauri, as well as to develop Raghunath Temple, Vidakoti, Laxman Temple in Devprayag as a religious tourism circuit. Besides expediting the construction of Paraglide Training Center in Nayar Valley, the Chief Minister also directed to transfer the Pauri Circuit House to the State Property Department and to develop the old Collectorate building as a heritage building.
The Chief Minister also asked to expedite the construction of Teelu Rauteli Museum at Gurad village of Ekeshwar, Tourist Complex and Community Procession House at Kherasen, Sports Ground in Sylhet under Chaubatakhal assembly constituency. Along with this, the Chief Minister gave approval for roads, bridges and link roads, drinking water schemes etc. for various assembly constituencies of the district.
It was informed in the meeting that out of total 39 announcements were made for Srinagar assembly constituency, 27 out of 32 for Yamkeshwar, 23 out of 35 for Lansdowne, 30 out of 44 for Pauri, 19 out of 22 for Kotdwar and Out of 30 announcements made for Chaubatta skins, 17 have been completed and action is in progress in the remaining.
Minister of State for Higher Education and Cooperation Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, MLA Mr. Mahant Dilip Singh Rawat, Mr. Mukesh Koli, Chief Secretary Mr. Om Prakash, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Anand Vardhan, Secretary Mr. Shailesh Bagoli, Mr. R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Mr. Sushil Kumar, Shri S.A. Murugesan, Special Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. Parag Madhukar Dhakate, MLA Representative Chaubatta Khal and other officials were present. MLA Smt. Ritu Khanduri and District Magistrate Pauri were involved through video conferencing.
