Kolkata’s Eden Gardens Stadium is going to witness a historic moment once again. Bangladesh Cricket Board has accepted the proposal of the Board of Control for Cricket in India to conduct day-night Test between India and Bangladesh. Now the second Test match between India and Bangladesh will be played day-night at the Eden Gardens Stadium. Team India has not played any day-night test so far. This will be the first time both teams will play a Test match day-night. Former captain of the Indian cricket team Sourav Ganguly had convinced captain Virat Kohli to play the day-night Test after taking over as the BCCI president. After this, the BCCI sent the proposal to the Bangladesh Cricket Board which is now accepted by the BCB.

Another special thing is going to happen in this test. There are plans to invite many players to this match and honor them. Legendary Olympic medalists like Abhinav Bindra, MC Mary Kom and PV Sindhu are expected during this Test match. This historic Test match between India and Bangladesh will be played from 22 November. Three T20 matches and two Test matches are to be played between India and Bangladesh. The first T20 match between the two countries will be played on 3 November. The second T20 will be played in Rajkot on 7 November. The third match will be held in Nagpur on 10 November. The Test series will begin on November 14. The second Test will be played on 22 November.
