Six big announcements of Chief Minister Dhami, village watchman and guard will now get honorarium of Rs 3000 per month

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has made six important announcements on Independence Day in view of the proper development of the state. Under this, he announced to increase the honorarium of village watchman and village guard from two thousand rupees to three thousand rupees. Village watchmen and village guards play an important role in various works including disaster management in the state. Their number is 5645. They are currently being given an honorarium of Rs 2000 per month. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami hoisted the flag at the main function of Independence Day organized at Parade Ground in Dehradun. During this, he highlighted the achievements of the state as well as various decisions and steps of the government. Also touched the public sentiments of soldier-dominated Uttarakhand. He paid tribute to the freedom fighters, martyred state agitators. Expressed condolences to the disaster-affected families in Dharali and other areas. On this occasion, he made announcements in view of various sections and areas.

Honorarium of 95 block representatives will be 10 thousand
The Chief Minister also announced an increase of two thousand rupees per month in the honorarium of the representatives posted in 95 blocks of the Sainik Welfare Department. There is one representative in each block of the Sainik Welfare Department, who play an important role in solving the problems of ex-servicemen and their relatives, who are currently given an honorarium of eight thousand rupees per month.

The government will conduct a study of other glaciers including Gangotri
The government has also shown great sensitivity towards glacier lakes in the high Himalayan region. The Chief Minister announced that regular studies will be conducted of other glaciers including Gangotri and the areas around them. Also, the disaster management system will be strengthened to deal with the situation before and after the disaster.

Two gas cylinders and stove will be given to the schools
The Chief Minister said that in the schools of the state where gas cylinders and stoves are not available for cooking food under the Mid Day Meal Scheme, two gas cylinders and one stove will be provided there.

Special educational centers at district level

Special educational centers will be established in every district for the overall development and promotion of distance and employment oriented higher education in the state. Announcing this, the Chief Minister said that these centers will be operated and coordinated by Uttarakhand Open University.

10-10 hand pumps will be installed for water supply

10-10 hand pumps will be installed in those assembly constituencies of the state where there is difficulty in ensuring regular and adequate drinking water supply.
