Silver Jubilee Year of State’s Establishment; NRIs to Gather at Doon University on 5th, CM to Interact

The second NRI Conference will be held at Doon University on November 5th to mark the Silver Jubilee of the State’s establishment. During this one-day conference, NRIs will share their perspectives on Uttarakhand’s 25-year journey. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will directly interact with them. Following Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s directives, the series of NRI Conferences has begun in the state. Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister RK Sudhanshu stated that the conference will begin at 10:00 am on November 5th at the Nityanand Auditorium of Doon University. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will inaugurate the conference. The conference will be held in two sessions. The first session will be on the environment, for which PCCF SP Subudhi of the Forest Department has been appointed as the nodal officer.
The second session will be related to health, education, and women’s empowerment, for which Doon University Vice Chancellor Prof. Surekha Dangwal has been appointed as the nodal officer. The Principal Secretary informed that during the conference, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will also directly interact with the expatriate Uttarakhandis. This interaction program will last for about an hour. So far, 200 people from Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, etc. have registered to be a part of this event. After the conference, a cultural program will also be organized in the evening at Doon University.
