After the Chief Minister Dhami contested the by-election from Champawat, the stream of development has started flowing in the district. CM Dhami reached Champawat headquarters after addressing an election rally in Tamli on Sunday. While he rested the night in a private hotel and interacted with the media, he elaborated on the development of Champawat.
CM Dhami said that there is immense potential for development in Champawat. In the coming time, Champawat will develop as a tourist hub. All the temples will be connected to the circuit under Manaskhand. Ropeways will be constructed in Champawat and Tanakpur. Health and education facilities will be strengthened. Villages will be connected by road and connectivity.
The sewerage line built years ago in Tanakpur has deteriorated. which will be re-laid. At the same time, this work will be done in Champawat. One hundred crore rupees have been approved for both the places. 29 crores have been approved from the central government for Tanakpur Bageshwar rail line survey. The exercise to make the engineering college triple IT has been started.
