Preparations are underway in full swing for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to the Silver Jubilee celebrations in Devbhoomi, Uttarakhand. Late Thursday evening, Garhwal Division Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey and Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari conducted a site inspection of the main event venue at the Forest Research Institute (FRI) and closely reviewed the arrangements.
During the inspection, both officials reviewed the ongoing work at the venue and directed that all preparations be completed in a timely and meticulous manner. They stated that there should be no room for negligence or shortcomings in a historic event like the Silver Jubilee. The officials conducted a detailed review of the main pandal, stage design, backdrop, and layout plan and, after taking suggestions from engineers, directed necessary improvements. They emphasized the need to ensure smooth seating arrangements for VIP and VVIP guests, security cordon, spectators’ gallery, media zone, and entry and exit routes for the general public. In addition, clear guidelines were given to the concerned officials regarding parking arrangements, smooth traffic management, deployment of emergency services, and cleanliness arrangements. Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey said that in view of the Prime Minister’s proposed program, it is important to maintain strong coordination and communication between all departments so that the event can be conducted without any hindrance. Director General of Information Vanshidhar Tiwari said that preparations related to media management and information broadcasting are also in the final stages and the program will be presented in a well-organized and spectacular manner. Additional Director of Information Ashish Tripathi, Assistant Director Badri Chand Negi, Arrangements Officer Rampal Rawat, and other senior officials were present during the inspection. Senior officials review the arrangements at FRI in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival at the main venue of Uttarakhand’s Silver Jubilee.
