Preparations complete for Gairsain Assembly session, will be conducted smoothly

Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri said that preparations have been completed for the proposed assembly session in Gairsain. She assured that this time the session will be conducted smoothly. She said that Gairsain Assembly has been completely digitalized like Dehradun Assembly. Earlier there was a problem of sound here, there was difficulty in listening due to echo in the sound system. This time an effort has been made to improve the sound quality in collaboration with IIT Roorkee and it is expected that the sound quality will be better during the session. Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri, who reached Srinagar while going to Gairsain for the assembly session, said that it is her responsibility to reach Gairsain by road and take a direct review of the situation. She said that the highway is definitely bad at some places between Rishikesh and Srinagar, but the teams of NH, PWD and administration are deployed on the spot with promptness. With the help of JCB, the blocked routes are being opened immediately so that the passengers do not face any kind of trouble. He said that the weather of the state has always been challenging, but the government and administration are keeping a close watch on the situation. Giving information, he said that the International Institute of Policy Training and Study has been reactivated.

Along with this, by signing an MoU with Swami Ram Himalayan University, an initiative has been taken to recharge the dried hand pumps in Gairsain, Bhararisain and Chokhutiya area through scientific research. At present, work is being done on 20 to 25 hand pumps.
