PM Narendra Modi will visit Harshil and Mukhaba, Chief Secretary Raturi will go to inspect the preparations for the visit

Preparations for the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is coming to Mukhaba on February 27 to give the message of winter visit to Uttarakhand, have started in full swing. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi will herself go to Mukhaba to inspect the preparations. On Wednesday, she held a review meeting regarding the preparations for the PM’s visit at the Secretariat. She instructed the departments and officials related to the preparations to make all the arrangements foolproof within the stipulated time. The Chief Secretary said that this visit of the Prime Minister is a valuable opportunity to promote winter tourism in Uttarakhand. Therefore, in the programs to be held during this period, special attention should be paid to highlighting the possibilities and capabilities of winter tourism in the state. All preparations should be ensured on time keeping in mind the protocol and security arrangements during the proposed programs of the Prime Minister in Harshil-Mukhwa. The Chief Secretary instructed to make appropriate arrangements for the proposed program of the public meeting in Harshil, including darshan-puja at the PM’s Mukhaba temple. He said that effective arrangements should be made for parking and transport. He directed the Secretary Tourism to organize exhibitions based on winter tourist places of Uttarakhand and local products in Harshil. Give priority to local products in PM’s visit

The officials have accelerated the preparations for the proposed visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the on-site inspection in Mukhaba, CDO SL Semwal directed the officials to organize exhibitions related to local products and tradition. Also, the welcome of PM was discussed with the people of Jad community. CDO SL Semwal said that on-site inspection of the preparations going on for the proposed visit of the Prime Minister in Harshil, Mukhaba and Bagori should be done. He directed the officials to complete the construction work on time. Along with this, special attention should be paid to the quality of the work. For the Prime Minister’s program, construction work is being done in these three villages including interlocking tiles on the footpath, view point in Mukhaba and connecting the helipad to the road. At the same time, he directed the Tourism Officer, REAP and Garden Department to give importance to things related to local products, tradition etc. in the stalls and exhibitions related to their departments. He said that for this, prepare a plan and submit its report, so that all preparations can be completed on time. At the same time, he gave instructions to repair the footpaths.
