PM Modi took stock of the disaster situation, gave 1200 crores help to Uttarakhand

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced financial assistance of 1200 crores for rehabilitation, construction and relief work in the disaster affected areas of Uttarakhand. He also announced an ex-gratia of two lakh rupees to the relatives of those who died in the disaster and 50 thousand rupees for the injured.
