Panchayat elections are to be held in 12 other districts of the state except Haridwar district, but before the elections, the Panchayat Act has to be amended for OBC reservation. After this, there will be a government order and reservation will be decided according to the percentage. After its provisional publication, objections will be invited.
After this, the objections will be heard and settled. After settling the objections on SC, ST, OBC and women reservation, notification will be issued for panchayat elections.
