One more death due to corona in Uttarakhand in a week, five new cases found

A patient died of corona in Uttarakhand on Thursday. This is the second death due to corona in a week. According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, the corona infected patient died in the Doon Medical College Hospital.
At the same time, five new cases of corona have been found. All these cases have been found in Dehradun district. Five corona patients have also recovered. There are currently 63 active cases of corona in the state. Here the infection rate of the virus is 0.62 and the recovery rate of patients is 96 percent. The good thing is that at present no case of new variant of Korana has been found in the state.

Covishield is not there, how to take Vigilance dosage:
Due to the apprehension of Corona, people are coming again to get the vigilance dose, but there is a shortage of vaccine in the district. Not a single dose of Covishield is here. Due to which people are returning from vaccination centers.
Last days, the district got 840 doses from Arunachal Pradesh, but it got over in two days. Now the maximum crowd is at Gandhi Hospital and Municipal Corporation Center. Everyday people are being sent back here.
Let me tell you, there is a target of administering vigilance dose to 12 lakh 81 people in the district, but so far only 4 lakh 25 thousand have been vaccinated. 8.5 lakh are yet to be vaccinated in the district. ADIO Yagyadev Thapliyal told that the demand has been sent, it is expected that the vaccine will be available soon.

A 150 ICU bed hospital will be built in AIIMS:
For better treatment of patients suffering from serious diseases, the process of construction of 150 bed capacity ICU (Intensive Care Unit) hospital building at AIIMS Rishikesh has been started. The construction work of this Mini Intensive Care Unit hospital building will be done by the Central Public Works Department. An MoU was signed by the officials of AIIMS and the Central Public Works Department regarding this scheme.
Professor (Dr.) Meenu Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Rishikesh said that at present a 960-bed hospital is operating in AIIMS Rishikesh, out of which 200 are ICU beds. Here daily 2500 to 3000 patients come to OPD for medical consultation from doctors of different departments. Being the largest health institute in the state, the number of patients admitted here for treatment is also increasing day by day.
Especially in view of the increasing number of serious patients, a mini intensive care unit hospital building is going to be constructed near the trauma building of AIIMS. 150 beds will be set up in this mini hospital building. An MoU was formed between AIIMS Rishikesh and the Central Public Works Department and the agreement was signed by both the parties. This scheme of hospital construction has been approved under ‘Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission’.
The hospital building to be constructed under the scheme will have seven floors including the ground floor. The Executive Director said that this Mini Intensive Care Unit hospital will have emergency beds including day care beds, dialysis, isolation rooms, HDU, ICU, NICU, PICU and operation theatres.

He told that soon another ICU with 42 beds will also be ready for the treatment of small children. On this occasion, Dean Academic Prof. Jaya Chaturvedi, Deputy Director (Administration) of the Institute, Lt. Colonel AR Mukherjee, Law Officer Pradeep Chandra Pandey, Superintendent Engineer of Rishikesh Division of CPWD Chandrapal, Superintendent Engineer in-charge of AIIMS Vipul Kumar Mishra etc. were present.
