There was a time when India was not able to defend itself on global platforms. But today the country has become strong. If India says something, the world listens carefully. Today the army answers bullets with shells. The army does not have to wait for orders. It kills the enemy by entering his home. The government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has modernized the army and also increased the facilities of the soldiers. The state government is also committed to the welfare of the soldiers. The Chief Minister announced
The ex-gratia grant amount given to martyr soldiers in the state will be increased from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 50 lakh.
The period for applying for government jobs for the family members of martyr soldiers will be increased from 02 years to 05 years.
The dependents of martyrs will now be given appointment on Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ posts in District Magistrate offices as well as in other departments in Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ posts.
Contract workers working in Sainik Welfare Department will be given leave like Upanal workers.
