On New Year’s Eve, the Dehradun police will deal strictly with hoodlums.



On Wednesday, SSP Dr. Yogendra Singh Rawat has directed the District Police. He said that celebrations in the city and vicinity will be celebrated as per SOP of Government Administration. If anyone violates them, strict action will be taken against him.

On Wednesday, the SSP convened a meeting of all the SP, CO and police in-charge. During this time, he directed everyone that there should not be any kind of fight in the celebration of New Year. For this, the police will have to be ready. He told that if more than a large number of people gather at some place, then follow the police rules there. Route arrangements for traffic have been implemented. If they are violated, strict action should be taken against the drivers.

Driving license will be suspended
If you drive a vehicle after losing consciousness in the enthusiasm of the new year, then you can get stuck in difficulty. RTO Enforcement Sandeep Saini has instructed all the teams to carry out intensive checking operations on different routes on 31 December and 1 January.

RTO Enforcement Sandeep Saini said that Haridwar Bijnor Marg, Haridwar-Roorkee Road, Roorkee-Muzaffarnagar Road, Roorkee-Narsan-Mangalore Road, Selakui-Herbatpur-Dakpathar-Kalsi Road, Selakui-Jhajhra-Nanda Chowki Road, Rajpur-Mussoorie Road , Saharanpur Road, Chakrata Road, Dehradun-Haridwar Road, Rishikesh Bypass Nepali Farm, Rishikesh Tehri Road will carry out intensive checking operation.

Separate officers have been deployed on all routes from 5 pm to 10 pm. All the officers have been instructed to suspend the licenses of such drivers, who are found to be driving in a losing consciousness or do not follow the rules.

SSP Dehradun Dr. Yogendra Singh Rawat said that everyone has been directed for traffic duty. Along with this, checking and barrier points have been made in many places to maintain peace in the city. If anyone is found committing an offense, strict action will be taken against him.
Ban on leave of 108 ambulance workers
On the occasion of New Year, 108 ambulance employees’ holiday has been banned throughout the state. Ambulances will be on high alert across the state on December 31 and January 1. During this time, technical arrangements have also been made to ensure that the ambulance does not get trapped.

A large number of accidents occur on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Eve. In view of this, 108 service has issued an alert for its personnel. GM Projects Anil Sharma said that technical arrangements have been made to avoid the ambulance jam being deployed at sensitive places on New Year’s Eve.

He said that every emergency will be immediately reported to the central call center in Dehradun. Ambulances have been deployed at the main crossings of Survey Chowk, Ghantaghar, Jakhan, Raipur, Ballupur Chowk, Premnagar, Vidhan Sabha, Race Course in Dehradun district. So that, in any emergency, the ambulance can reach the spot immediately.

He said that during December 31 to January 1 last year, more road accidents were reported than other days. In view of this, extra vigilance is being exercised this time.

Many routes will be changed on new year
The traffic police has also made preparations to ensure that there is no problem on the celebration of New Year. Route diversion system will remain in force in many places in and around the city. A new system will be introduced on these routes from Thursday itself.

SP Traffic Prakash Chand said that in order to control the traffic in Mussoorie, one way has been done on several routes. This route plan has also gone viral through Facebook and other social media.

Heavy vehicles will be banned
Heavy vehicles coming to Masri from Diversion and Bataghat checkpost in view of New Year’s Eve and New Year are banned from 31 to 1 January. This ban will be from eight in the morning to 12 in the night. Vehicles with essential services will be exempt.

Plan for vehicles coming to Mussoorie
– Under plan A, vehicles coming from Dehradun to Mussoorie which will go towards the library via Kingreg. They will be parked at the MDDA Parking at Library Chowk and at the Kapti Stand MDDA Parking. Vehicles will be parked in the parking of the Modern School when MDDA parking is full at the library and camp stand.
– Under Plan B, small vehicles will be sent from Kinkreg towards Picture Palace. Larger vehicles will be parked at the parking lot at Kinkreg.
According to Plan C, vehicles will be parked along the road from Kinkreg towards the big bend. The route from Kinkreg to Big Fold will remain One Way.
According to Plan D, vehicles coming from Dehradun to Mussoorie will be diverted from Gajji Band towards Hathipaon Tirahe and will be sent from Beverly Chowk towards Zero Point. This plan will be used only under special circumstances, because the route to Hathipaon is a very deserted route.
Mussoorie to Dehradun traffic plan
– Vehicles going from Mussoorie to Dehradun will be diverted from Kinkreg towards JP Band and JP Band from Barloganj to Jadipani on Main Road.
– Vehicles going from the Picture Palace will be diverted from JP Band via Jayan Band to Barlowganj via Allen School with a large turn and will be sent to Main Road via Jharipani
– Vehicles coming from Lal Tibba will be diverted from Malingar Tiraha under the Budstock School from JP Band and JP Band to Barlowganj and will be sent towards Main Road via Jharipani.
