The government in Uttarakhand is now preparing to amend the standards of nursing recruitment.

CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, who returned to work after recovering from Corona, has instructed the Health Secretary to prepare a proposal to amend the standards. Taking cognizance of the memorandum of unemployed youth, the CM has also directed to present the proposal in the cabinet.

Following the instruction of CM Rawat, more than 1200 posts of nursing staff are going to be recruited in the state. But due to the experience of one year from the 30-bed hospital for recruitment and the compulsory form 16, many nursing trained youth were being denied participation. On this, nursing-trained unemployed youth had given a memorandum to the Chief Minister demanding relaxation in the standards. So that more and more nursing trained youth can participate in it.

After this, the Chief Minister has now directed Secretary Health to remove the condition of one year experience in a 30-bed hospital. Health Secretary Amit Negi said that the proposal for this will be prepared and given in the cabinet. After this amendment, the mandatory form 16 will also end.

Congress raised the issue in the Vis session:
This issue of nursing recruitment was raised by the Congress during the assembly session some time back. After this, Congress state president Pritam Singh and Kedarnath MLA Manoj Rawat held a press conference on this issue. At the same time, Harish Rawat, former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and National General Secretary of Congress, is now in support of trainees of nurse recruitment. On Monday, Rawat spoke to Chief Secretary Om Prakash over the matter and urged him to solve the problem.

Divyang employees will be able to get more government accommodation than before:
Along with nursing recruitment, CM Trivendra also broke the disabled employees working in the government departments of the state. Now, the quota for government employees of disabled employees working in government departments has been increased.

Till now there was three percent reservation for differently abled employees in the allocation of government houses. It has now been increased to four percent. With this decision of the state government, the disabled employees will now be able to get more government accommodation.

The Trivandra Government, understanding the problem of Divyang personnel, has provided great relief to them. Due to limited quota, the disabled employees have to wait a lot to get government accommodation.

Many times eligible disabled employees are deprived of getting government accommodation. But now with the increase of quota, more disabled employees will be able to get government accommodation. According to official sources, the Social Welfare Department has made a provision to increase the reservation for all categories of disabled personnel from three percent to four percent in the allocation of government houses, buildings. The State Property Department has given its consent in this regard. After obtaining the approval of the Chief Minister, guidelines will now be issued for allotment of accommodation to all departments.
