With the aim of giving a new flight to women empowerment in the state, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced to work on mission mode with the vision of making Lakhpati Didi a Crorepati Didi. On Monday, the Chief Minister took several steps to provide relief to the women self-help groups of various development blocks of the state through virtual medium from the Secretariat. Chief Minister Dhami said that Matri Shakti is the biggest carrier of the economic and social revolution of Uttarakhand.
He directed the officials that now only souvenirs, shawls and gifts etc. made by women self-help groups will be used in all the programs and ceremonies of the state government. He also directed all the District Magistrates to provide training to women in the Growth Center.
