The state government will now monitor all the important projects of the state through a single portal. This will help in seeing the status of various projects running in the departments. Information about the progress of the schemes will also be updated in this. The Department of Information Technology has set a target to link the projects running in all the departments to this portal by the end of December. At present, many projects of the Center and the state are running in the state. Till now the information of the projects is seen department wise. Initially, the state government started monitoring important projects through the Gati Shakti portal. For this, important projects of the state were identified and linked to this portal. Departmental officials were instructed to continuously share information regarding the progress of the schemes on the portal. The objective is that the government can get information about the actual status of these projects from anywhere. In view of its success, now it has been decided to include all the departments in it in the second phase.
In this sequence, information about every scheme running in the departments will have to be shared in this portal. For example, how many schemes are running in the department, work has been started in how many, which schemes are pending, which are those schemes on which it is not possible to work. This will enable the government to get detailed data of the work going on in the departments. Also, if there is any problem in the implementation of the schemes, then it will be taken forward with the help of the administration and the government. In this regard, some time ago, the Information Technology Department had given a detailed presentation before Chief Secretary Radha Raturi. It was told that the department has set a target to connect all the schemes running in the departments to this portal by the end of this year i.e. December, on which work is going on continuously.
