Uttarakhand player Reshma Patel has set a national record in the ten thousand meter walk race. This is a big achievement for Uttarakhand.

Reshma Patel has made this record in the national competition being held in Bhopal. Reshma made this record by completing her race in the Under 20 Girls category in 48 minutes 52 seconds.

Reshma also took gold medal in her own name:
On Tuesday, 16-year-old Reshma set a national record in her first race and also won a gold medal. He broke Priyanka Goswami’s 2014 national record.

Reshma completed the race in a time of 48 minutes and 25.90 seconds on the second day of the National Federation Cup Junior Under 20 Athletics Championships held at TT Nagar Stadium in Bhopal.

Paramjeet Bisht secured third place in the ten thousand meter walk race
On the same day, in this competition, Paramjit Bisht of Uttarakhand has secured third place in the first event of the day in the ten thousand meter walk race. Paramjeet hails from Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. This creates an atmosphere of happiness among their family members.
