The biggest relief in the Central Government’s budget is seen in the form of disaster management. Special provision has been made in the Union Budget to heal the wounds of the disaster in the state. The Uttarakhand government had made a provision of Rs 1,000 crore in the budget for the rehabilitation of the affected and other disaster management works due to the landslide in Joshimath. Now, after the provision for Uttarakhand has been made in the Union Budget, the state government will not have to make much effort to raise this amount.

Budget of Rs 5131 crore for rail projects

Uttarakhand has got a budget of Rs 5131 crore for rail projects for the year 2024-25. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has given this information through video conferencing.

Uttarakhand will be able to get more than Rs 900 crore

A provision of Rs 13,900 crore has been made in the devolution of taxes. Out of this amount, Uttarakhand will be able to get more than Rs 900 crore. Apart from this, the doors of interest-free loan of Rs 1.5 lakh crore have been opened for the states. According to the current performance of Uttarakhand, the state will easily get a loan of at least Rs 1,750 crore.
