For the convenience of tourists in Uttarakhand, modern mobile toilets are being installed at tourist sites. In the first phase, 15 mobile toilets will be purchased, out of which five have been purchased. Mobile toilets will be provided at tourist places which do not have toilet facilities.

He left a mobile toilet for George Everest in Mussoorie. It is informed that the work of upgradation and modernization of 54 toilets on Chardham Yatra route has been completed. In the second phase, 37 toilets of Pauri and Chamoli districts are proposed to be upgraded.
Mobile toilets have separate arrangements for men and women. 3 seats in female toilet and 2 seats in male toilet and one urinal pot has been installed. It has also installed a 2-kilowatt solar plant, which will meet the electricity requirement of this mobile toilet.

It also has a system of one thousand liter water tank and motor to fill the water tank. Which can lift the water and fill it from anywhere. He said that 750 liter tank has been installed to collect sewer in it.

Where will the facility be available
Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said that four mobile toilets will be installed in Haridwar, five in George Everest, one in Mussoorie, one in Chopta Tungnath, one in Satpuli, one in Kaudiyala, one in Kanwashram and one in Kalimath. The cost of a mobile toilet is about 16.50 lakhs.
