Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and Uttarakhand Vidhan Sabha Speaker Premchand Agrawal jointly conducted a terrestrial inspection of the assembly pavilion in the assembly premises today, regarding the preparations for the monsoon session of Uttarakhand Assembly. Aggarwal said that all the young MLAs, including MLAs above 65 years of age, will also be urged to participate in the House through virtual. Aggarwal informed that there are 12 honorable members who are more than 65 years of age. The Speaker said that in view of the Corona Transition Standards in the House, there is a seating arrangement of 47 MLAs, while the Journalist Gallery, Audience Gallery and The seating arrangement of MLAs is also being made in the official gallery, so that all the 70 MLAs can be seated in the house keeping social distancing. It is informed that arrangements are being made to sanitize the legislators thrice from the entrance to the house, as well as the masks, gulps and sanitizers will be provided to the legislators as soon as they enter the house.
The Speaker said that the session between Corona is not less than a challenge but the session will be duly convened keeping in mind all the necessary things. The Speaker has also sought the cooperation of all the honorable members for this. The Legislative Speaker said that the entire Question Hour will be held during the session in which more than 1,000 questions have been received by the 23 MLAs to the Legislative Assembly so far. After the security meeting to be held, a discussion will be held on several other topics and the finalization of the session will be finalized.
