Uttarakhand: Weather changes mood, Meteorological Department Warns of Snowfall

There was rain in the capital Dehradun at night. Due to which a drop in temperature has been recorded. At the same time most areas are cloudy. There is also a report of drizzle in many areas late Monday.
It was cloudy from Rudraprayag to Kedarnath since morning. However, later the sun blossomed here. The weather in Chamoli district is also bad. There are chances of rain and snowfall later in the afternoon. Yamuna valley including Yamunotri Dham is cloudy, there is a possibility of rain here. Light rains continue in New Tehri and surrounding areas. It is cloudy in Rishikesh. Drizzle was also here in the morning.

In Nainital district, light drizzle occurred in the areas surrounding Garampani in the morning. Rudrapur, Kashipur and Sitarganj also have light clouds in the sky. Light rains have increased the cold in Ramnagar.

Heavy snowfall warning in two districts today
The Meteorological Department has issued heavy snowfall warning in two districts of the state today. The capital will also be cloudy. Also, light rain is also expected. On Monday, the state was partly cloudy.
In the capital too, sunshine and sunshine continued throughout the day. Meanwhile, the day’s maximum temperature was recorded at 26.8 degrees and the minimum temperature was 10.2 degrees. Meteorological director Bikram Singh said that today heavy snowfall warning has been issued in the higher reaches of Pithoragarh and Chamoli.

Light clouds increased cold
It will be cloudy across the state. Light rain may occur in some areas. Areas above 3000 m may experience light snowfall. Today the capital will be cloudy. Due to rain and snowfall, the weather will take a turn throughout the state. The temperature can be reduced by two to three degrees.
On Sunday, the nights have started getting cold due to cloudy daylight. While the minimum night temperature was recorded at 12 degrees on Sunday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 10.2 degrees on Monday. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature may fall further in the coming days.
