Merchant organizations did not agree to open and close shops…

There is confusion about the opening of markets in Doon on Saturday due to a lack of opinion among the merchant organizations.

While the Doon Industry Trade Board has announced full closure on Saturday and Sunday, the Provincial Industry Trade Board and the Doon Industry Trade Board have announced to keep the market open. For this reason, customers as well as traders are confused. The administration has not yet issued any order regarding the closure of the markets.
Corona infection is increasing in Doon. A large number of corona-infected patients are coming in every day and the infected are dying. The business class is also worried about this. Therefore, in the past, the Doon Industry Trade Board gave a press conference and announced the complete closure of the Doon markets on Saturday and Sunday. The organization says that in these two days sanitation will be done in the markets on behalf of the municipal corporation.

On the other hand, the organization Doon Valley Udyog Mandal and the Provincial Industry Trade Board have opposed the announcement of Doon Udyog Trade Board to open the market on Saturday and warned to protest against the forced market closure. There is a lot of confusion about the opening of the market on Saturday after separate announcement by the merchant organizations.
What officials said
Corona cases are increasing in Doon. Four hundred to five hundred cases are coming every day. A two-day closure has been announced so that there are no major losses in the main markets. This closure is purely for the safety of the merchant, the safety of the customer. Traders associated with all units of the Doon Industry metropolis will keep their establishments closed on Saturday and Sunday and cooperate in the sanitation drive of the Municipal Corporation.
– Anil Goyal, patron Doon Industry Trade Board

A meeting of the traders was held after the announcement of market closure of the alleged organization. All the traders in the meeting have objected to the closure of the market on Saturday and Sunday. All the members said that due to the closure of the market on Saturday and Sunday, the pressure on the market would increase on Friday and Monday. Which will increase the crowd and social distancing will be difficult to follow. Therefore, there is no justification for Saturday and Saturday. All markets will be open on Saturday.
– Vinay Goyal, State General Secretary Provincial Industries Trade Board

Considering the business interests, the organization has decided that all markets will be open on Saturday. Traders are struggling with a lot of financial constraints. Hence there is no justification for market closure. There is an appeal to all people and businessmen not to get into any rumors. There are no orders in this regard of governance. Therefore, the market will be fully open.
– Pankaj Masson, President Doon Valley Metropolitan Business Board
