The Prime Minister directed that special care should be taken in the master plan of Shri Badrinath Dham that the mythological and spiritual importance of the place should remain there. To be developed as a smart, Spiritual City. Home stays can also be developed. Other spiritual places nearby should also be connected to it. Special lighting should be provided at the entrance site of Badrinath Dham which is in accordance with the spiritual environment. The Prime Minister also reviewed the reconstruction work of Kedarnath Dham.

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that local people are getting cooperation in the development work of Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham. Work on home stay is being done in nearby villages. Keshavprayag, the confluence of Saraswati and Alaknanda, can also be developed. Vyasa and Ganesh cave have special significance in Badrinath Dham. Devotees should also get information about their mythological importance. There will be no problem of land in working on the master plan of Badrinath Dham.

Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said that work on the Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project and the Chardham highway project is going on fast. This will make the Chardham Yatra very convenient for the devotees.

In the presentation on the master plan of Badrinath Dham, it was told that an area of ​​85 hectares has been taken. Devadarshini site will be developed. A museum and art gallery will also be built. Information about Dashavatar will be given through visual and audio medium. The Badrinath master plan has been targeted to be completed by 2025. The master plan has been adapted to the hill environment.

On this occasion, Chief Secretary Omprakash also informed about the progress of reconstruction work of Kedarnath Dham. He told that the work of Shankaracharya’s Samadhi Sthal is going on fast. The work of faith path at Saraswati Ghat is complete. The work of two meditation caves will be completed by the end of this month. The site for the nursery of Brahma Kamal has been identified. The bridge at Garuchchatti has been rebuilt.
