38th National Games: Lakshya Sen will hand over the torch to PM Modi, will lead Uttarakhand’s badminton team

Famous Indian badminton player Lakshya Sen will hand over the National Games torch to PM Narendra Modi. The torch will be handed over to the PM on the occasion of the inauguration of the National Games. Both brothers Lakshya and Chirag Sen will also represent Uttarakhand’s badminton team in the National Games. After PM Modi’s program in the opening ceremony of the National Games was confirmed, preparations at the venue have gained momentum. Maharana Pratap Sports College has been converted into Silver Jubilee Sports Complex. The Sports Directorate in Raipur is being made the Prime Minister’s Office for the PM’s visit. Infrastructural improvements are being done in it from the security point of view. There is a consideration to start the opening program of the National Games from around three o’clock.

Dress code is being prepared for players and officials. It will have the logo of the National Games. It will have the state bird Monal, mountains and rising sun. Special Chief Secretary Sports Amit Sinha said that separate dress codes are being prepared for GTCC, officials, players and Indian Olympic Association officials.
