The body of martyr Vinod Singh was brought to his residence in Athurawala in Dehradun district. The last rites of martyr Vinod Singh were performed on Wednesday at Purnanand Ghat Rishikesh.

When the army personnel reached the village with the mortal remains of Adarsh ​​Negi with full state honours, everyone in the village was stunned. Slogans of Adarsh ​​Negi Amar Rahe echoed from all sides. As soon as Adarsh’s body reached his house, there was an uproar. His relatives and villagers lost their patience. Everyone was consoling Adarsh’s mother and father. After the last rites at his house, they left for his ancestral ghat in Kirtinagar with state honors. Where he was cremated with full military honors. During this, MLA Vinod Kandhari, DM Mayur Dixit, SSP Navneet Singh Bhullar, District President BJP Rajesh Nautiyal etc. were present.

While Naik Vinod Singh Bhandari was originally from Chaund Jaspur village under Jakhnidhar area of ​​​​Tehri Garhwal. 26-year-old Rifleman Adarsh ​​​​Negi was also a resident of Thati Dagar village of Tehri Garhwal. Rifleman Anuj Negi, a resident of Dobaria village in Rikhnikhal area of ​​Pauri Garhwal, also sacrificed his life in this terrorist attack.
