Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat will share the joys of Deepawali with ITBP and Indian Army personnel.

They will attend the Deepawali meet on Saturday at Harshil in Uttarkashi. After this he has a program to celebrate Diwali with his family.

The Chief Minister will go to Harshil by helicopter on Saturday morning. There, the battalion will join the Deepawali Milan program at the ITBP camp of the 9th Battalion Bihar Regiment at Kopang. He will return to Dehradun in the afternoon after sharing the joys of Diwali with Indian Army soldiers. He will then celebrate Diwali with the family at the Chief Minister’s residence.

I will celebrate Diwali with family in Haridwar: Kaushik
Cabinet Minister Madan Kaushik will celebrate Diwali on Saturday at his Haridwar home. According to Kaushik, he will celebrate Green Diwali and urge everyone to avoid fireworks to prevent air pollution.

At least burn firecrackers: Bhagat
BJP state president Banshidhar Bhagat appealed to party workers and people to at least use firecrackers on Deepawali festival. It is necessary to do this to avoid pollution. He said that he would celebrate Deepawali with family at his house in Haldwani.
