Irregularities found in the recruitment of Class IV posts in Uttarakhand, more than 150 recruitments may be canceled in these 3 districts.

The government may soon take a major decision regarding recruitment to class IV posts (watchmen and guards) in district cooperative banks. During the investigation of the case, irregularities were confirmed in Dehradun, Udham Singh Nagar and Pithoragarh districts. Now this investigation report along with the recommendation from the government has been received by the Chief Minister’s Office.

Brainstorming is going on on the investigation report
Sources say that brainstorming is going on on this. Recruitment of more than 150 candidates who were given appointment letters earlier in three districts may be cancelled. It was earlier decided to appoint more than 400 Class IV posts in District Cooperative Banks. Meanwhile, when irregularities in the appointment process came to light in Haridwar district, the process was postponed there, while it was continuing in other districts.

Rules ignored in Doon, Udham Singh and Pithoragarh also
Last year it came to light that even in Dehradun, Udham Singh Nagar and Pithoragarh districts, preparations were being made to give appointments to favorites by ignoring the rules. More than 150 candidates were selected and appointment letters were also handed over to them. After complaints in this regard, the government suspended the entire recruitment process and conducted an investigation in all three districts.

Investigating officer submitted report to the government
After a thorough investigation of the case, the investigating officer submitted the report to the government. In this, rigging was confirmed along with ignoring the standards set for appointment in all three districts. Since the selection committee of the concerned district co-operative banks did not favor the report, it was returned to the investigating officer. The investigating officer took the side of the selection committees and submitted the overall report to the government. This report was handed over from the secretary level to the higher level, from where it was sent to the Chief Minister’s office.

Preparation to take a major decision regarding action on the report
According to sources, now preparations are on to take a major decision regarding action on this report. Under this, the appointment letters of the candidates who were given earlier can be cancelled. Also, the government can take a decision regarding the selection committee of the concerned banks.
