After all, Who is the Owner of Crores of Rupees, Who Has Forgotten Money after Depositing in Swiss Bank

In India, there has been a long history of black money. Now a shocking report by news agency PTI has come out on this issue. The report says that there are about a dozen inactive accounts of Indians in Swiss banks, which have not been disclosed to any claimant. In such a situation, it is feared that the money lying in these accounts can be handed over to the Swiss government. According to the information that has come out from the Swiss authorities, no Indian has submitted a claim for one of the accounts lying in Swiss banks in the last six years. The report states that the deadline for claiming some of these inoperative accounts will expire next month. However, there are also some accounts that can be claimed by the end of 2020.

Shockingly, some of these inactive accounts have been claimed by Pakistanis. Not only this, claims have also been submitted on the accounts of people from Switzerland as well as some other countries. According to the report, there are about 2,600 accounts in Swiss banks which are inactive and in which there is an amount of 4.5 crore Swiss francs or about 300 crore rupees. Not only this, since 1955, no claim has been made for the amount in these accounts. Let us know that the government of Switzerland started making public the information about the accounts which have become inactive in the year 2015. After this, the Swiss banks had instructed the claimants of the inoperative accounts to submit the necessary documents to get the money. Ten of these inactive accounts belong to Indians. Surprising information is that some of these accounts are also related to the people living in India and the citizens of the British Raj.
