Had to increase the time of the temple in Kedarnath due to so many pilgrims

In view of the increasing number of devotees in Kedarnath, BKTC has changed the time of opening the temple and darshan in the morning. Now, the doors of the temple are being opened to the devotees at 4 am and closed at 11 pm. In such a situation, the temple is being opened for 18 hours.



So far more than 2 lakh 60 thousand devotees have reached the Kedarnath Yatra started from May 9. The number of devotees in Dham is increasing daily in ten days. There is a long line in the temple premises from the Aastha Path, in view of this, the doors of the temple are being opened from 4 am instead of 5 am on Friday from the temple committee.

The temple committee is offering darshan to devotees from 4 am to 4 pm throughout the day. After this, the doors of the temple are being closed for an hour from 4 to 5 pm to offer Baba Kedar a child’s enjoyment, followed by darshan of devotees from 5 pm to 11 pm. NP Jamaloki, the executive officer of the temple committee, said that this arrangement has been made in view of the increasing number of passengers.

A large number of devotees are also attending the Aarti of Baba Kedarnath at 7.30 pm. He informed that in the coming time also, according to the number of passengers, the time of opening and closing the doors of the temple will be decided.
