Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has directed that two Atal Adarsh ​​Schools should be established in each block. Suggestions should be obtained from sports experts, sportspersons and general public about the new sports policy of the state and presented in the cabinet at the earliest. Sports Science Center should be established to promote the use of technology in sports. Sports Development Fund should be created. To encourage children to participate in sports from an early age, the Chief Minister Upgradation Scholarship should be given. Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat reviewed the Department of School Education and Sports in the Secretariat. The Chief Minister said that Atal Adarsh ​​Schools should be established, fulfilling all standards of high quality education. With this, poor children living in rural areas will get equal opportunities for quality education. The choice of both Hindi and English medium should be available in these schools. Special attention should be paid to spoken English. The science laboratory should be equipped with all the necessary equipment. The meeting was informed that 174 schools have been identified to be developed as Atal Adarsh ​​Vidyalaya. Out of these, 108 schools have virtual class facilities. The Chief Minister said that local architecture and materials should be used wherever Atal Adarsh ​​Schools are built. At the meeting, the design of Atal Adarsh ​​Vidyalaya proposed at Thano was also apprised. Motivate the rural sports talent. The Chief Minister said that the private sector should be encouraged to enter the field of sports. Children come out of the world of TV, mobile and come to the playground. Sports Science Center should be set up to promote the use of technology in sports. The Chief Minister said that new sports should be included in Khel Kumbh. Special provisions should be made in the sports policy for girls. Facilities should be provided to the participating players at national level and international level. Sports Development Fund should be created to promote sports. Arrangements should be made to provide financial assistance to differently abled players. The Chief Minister directed to arrange Chief Minister Sports Upgradation Scholarship for children from eight years to 14 years. Single window system should be developed to solve the problems of players. The quota for outstanding players in vocational education institutions and state departments should be such that the players are encouraged. School Education and Sports Minister Arvind Pandey, Secretary Shri R Meenakshi Sundaram, Brijesh Kumar Sant, Director Education RK Kunwar and other departmental officers were present in the meeting.
