Uttarakhand BJP is also excited with the formation of BJP government for the third consecutive time in Haryana. The reason is that the party now has to contest the municipal elections in the state as well as the by-election of Kedarnath seat of the Assembly. In such a situation, this victory of Haryana will help to morally encourage the party workers. Along with this, during the elections, it will also underline the importance of double engine in the light of Haryana’s victory. It is also important that the party got success in all the assembly constituencies in Haryana where Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami campaigned in favor of the party candidates, except two-three. Whatever the election, morale plays the most important role in it. From this point of view, BJP has been continuously riding the victory chariot since the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Uttarakhand. Since then it has not lost any Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. It has also been at the top in civic bodies and panchayats. It is certain that the party could not get success in the by-elections of Mangalore and Badrinath seats of the Assembly. However, both these seats were not with the BJP earlier also.
By-election to be held on Kedarnath seat
Now that the party has entered the fray for the by-election of the vacant Kedarnath seat of the Assembly and the municipal elections to be held in the state, the historic victory of the BJP in Haryana has also boosted its morale here. It is obvious that the party workers will work with full enthusiasm in the civic elections and the by-election of the Kedarnath seat. Anyway, the BJP faces the challenge of retaining the Kedarnath seat. Not only this, it has to go far ahead of its previous performance in the municipal bodies. In view of this, the party has decided its strategy. The success of the BJP has further increased the political stature of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who came to the center of discussion in the country by taking many historic decisions including the initiative of Uniform Civil Code law. The party made full use of Dhami as a star campaigner in various states of the country in the Lok Sabha elections. He was also put on the front in the Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections.
