Half a Dozen Roads Closed Due to Heavy Rains in Bageshwar

Due to heavy rains in Bageshwar district, the water level of both Saryu and Gomti rivers has increased. Due to rain, 9 rural roads of Kapkot block and Kapkot Shama-Tejam state highway have been closed. Roads are closed due to the huge amount of debris on the roads, which are being tried to be opened by JCB. District Disaster Management Officer said that due to heavy rains, more than half a dozen roads in Bageshwar district were closed, which is being tried to open. He said that according to the statistics of the irrigation department, in Bageshwar, 10 mm Garuda 22 cupcot block has recorded the highest rainfall of 55 mm.
