After almost seven months, schools across the state have opened since Monday. In the first phase, students of 10th and 12th board exams have been called to school. SOP has been issued by the government to open the school. Which will be mandatory to be strictly followed.

On Sunday, the Chief Minister told reporters that the threat of corona infection has not been postponed. In view of this, orders have been given to strictly follow all measures to prevent corona infection in schools. He said that following physical distance law is also mandatory in all classes.
Sanitizer will also have to be used at the gate. Directorate of Education has been directed to ensure strict compliance of Kovid-19 rules in all schools. Responding to the queries of journalists, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that now the priority of the government is to start classes of 10th and 12th in view of board examinations. After this, small classes will be considered.

Take care of these things in school:
No teacher, employee and student will get entry in mask school.
Admission will be available only after thermal screening and sanitization at the school entrance.
Students will also have to bring the consent letter of the guardian.
Sanitization will have to be done both in the morning and evening in the school premises.
The management will have to keep the bathroom, classroom and school premises clean and tidy.
There will not be prayer meetings, sporting events or other mass events in schools.
Residential schools will have to bring a corona negative report.

All Kendriya Vidyalayas will also open, students will be called in two shifts:
Apart from government schools, all central schools are also going to open. Meenakshi Jain, Deputy Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Division said that all the Kendriya Vidyalayas will be opened as per the government order. However, 10th and 12th students will be called in two different shifts. The first shift will consist of students from tenth grade studying between 9:00 and 11:30. In the second shift, students of class 12 have been called between 12:00 and 2:30. Told that in a class, a maximum of 12 to 18 students will be able to study together, given the size of the class room of each school.

Most residential schools will be closed for the time being:
Most of the prestigious schools in Dehradun will remain closed for the time being. Talking about residential schools, so far only Welham Boys has received permission to open a school. At the same time, Him Jyoti School has also applied to the Education Department for inspection in their school. On the other hand, The Doon School has already announced the opening from 29 November. In-charge Chief Education Officer YS Chaudhary said that only these two residential schools had applied for them. The team will soon be sent to Him Jyoti School. Talking about the day schools, other prestigious schools including St Joseph, Brightland, Sand Juds will remain closed for the time being. Scholars’ Home has decided to open a school for students of board class from today. Chhala Khanna, chairman of Scholars’ Home, said that this is an experiment. If students show interest in coming to school, then the school will be opened further.
