On the other hand, the gates of Yamunotri Dham will be closed on Sunday at 12.05 pm on the occasion of Bhaiya Dooj festival. A large number of devotees were present in the Dham on the occasion of the closing of the gates of Gangotri Dham. Suresh Semwal, Secretary of Shri Panch Gangotri Mandir Samiti, said that the process of closing the doors of Mother Bhagwati Ganga’s Gangotri Dham was started on Friday with Deepotsav. He said that after the doors are closed, the festive idol of Mother Ganga will be brought to the winter camp Mukhaba with a doli yatra. On the other hand, preparations for closing the doors have also started in Yamunotri Dham. After the doors of Yamunotri Dham are closed tomorrow on Sunday, the festive idol of Mother Yamuna will leave for Kharsali village. Where devotees will be able to visit and worship Mother Yamuna during winter in the Mother Yamuna temple. Both the Dhams along with the winter camps have been decorated with flowers. Here, during the Yatra period, 15 lakh 21 thousand 752 pilgrims have reached both the Dhams till Friday evening, in which 7.10 lakh pilgrims have visited Yamunotri Dham and the number of pilgrims visiting Gangotri Dham is 8.11 lakh.
