Land Law Amendment Bill passed in the Assembly
The Uttarakhand (Uttar Pradesh Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act 1950) (Amendment) Bill 2025 has been passed in the House.

Today, a historic amendment bill was passed in the Uttarakhand Assembly, making the land law more powerful. Strict land law was absolutely necessary to protect the cultural heritage of Devbhoomi, environmental balance and the rights of the common people.
