At the same time, the High Court has asked the Board to take appropriate decisions keeping in mind the circumstances arising out of the Covid epidemic.

The case was heard before the bench of Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh and Justice Manoj Tiwari. The Chartered Accountant Society had filed a petition in the High Court stating that despite all their reports, the Income Tax Department has not extended the date of submission of Chartered Accountant Report and Income Tax Return, while people are now hesitating to meet the Chartered Accountant due to Corona epidemic. .

In this regard, the Advocate of Income Tax Department told the court that a petition to this effect was rejected by the Gujarat High Court on 13 January, while the petitioner’s advocate said that the decision of the Gujarat High Court is in a separate case and in that order also the petitioners It has been asked to submit a report before the Income Tax Department.
