Employees who have been stuck at one place for years will be transferred, CM Dhami gave instructions; Timetable has been released

Personnel posted in government departments for a long time will be compulsorily transferred. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed Chief Secretary Radha Raturi to take necessary action for this. At the same time, the government has instructed all the departments to ensure the transfer proceedings in the transfer session 0225-26 as per the timetable prescribed in the Transfer Act. According to this, the departments have to issue orders by completing the transfer process by June 10. At present, personnel are stuck in various departments in the state for years. As per the provision mentioned in the Transfer Rules 2017, 10 percent compulsory transfers are done every year in every department. Personnel posted at one place for more than five years come under its purview. Due to the high number of personnel in many departments, only a limited number of employees come under the purview of annual transfer. This creates a situation that a large number of employees are not transferred for years. This also causes resentment among other employees. This matter reached the government several times. However, due to the provisions of the policy, the number of transfers remained limited. These complaints also reached the government. On Monday, in the Secretariat, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the Chief Secretary in this regard that the process of transfer of officers and employees who have been posted at the place for a long time should be expedited. At the same time, on Monday, Additional Secretary Personnel Lalit Mohan Raial has written a letter to all the departments and directed to transfer as per the time table prescribed under the Transfer Act.
