Higher Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat inaugurated the state’s 662 e-Panchayat Seva Kendra in the summer’s capital Garasain (Bharadisain).

He also interacted with the beneficiaries of e-Panchayat Seva Kendra on the occasion. Through this service, 12 types of services up to Nyaya Panchayat level will be easily available to the people.

All services available through Common Service Centers will also be available through e-Panchayat Seva Kendra. In the coming months, e-Panchayat Seva Kendras will also be connected to the ‘Apani Sarkar’ portal.

The Minister of State said that to give more strength to these services, e-seva centers will be expanded at the Gram Sabha level. The Union Government has agreed to provide an amount of two thousand crore rupees for delivering high speed net to every village through Bharat Net 2.0.

With the full availability of the network in rural areas, these services will be further accelerated and public problems will also be resolved faster. Panchayati Raj Minister Arvind Pandey said that this is an important initiative towards the Digital India program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is the effort of the government that people do not have to visit government offices unnecessarily for their tasks. They should have all facilities available from home through digital medium.

MLA Mahendra Bhatt, IT Advisor to Chief Minister Ravindra Dutt, Director ITDA Amit Sinha, District Magistrate Chamoli Swati S Bhadauria, Superintendent of Police Yashwant Singh Chauhan, CDO Hansadatta Pandey and CSC officers from Central Office Delhi were involved.
