Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has described the Digital Uttarakhand Platform as an important game changer initiative towards good governance. He said that through this integrated platform, simple, convenient and transparent system of citizen services should be ensured. He has directed all the departments to ensure prompt action to make it successful. On Monday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the Information Technology Department at the Secretariat. During this, he reviewed in detail the progress of implementation of Digital Uttarakhand Platform. The Chief Minister said that this initiative towards bringing the state into the mainstream of the digital age will help in making the system transparent and effective. This will also bring revolutionary changes in the way of communication and delivery of services to the citizens. He said that special attention should be paid to making this platform smooth, convenient and secure. In the meeting, Secretary Information Technology Nitesh Jha informed that the Digital Uttarakhand Platform is being developed as a quick express link of all the schemes of the state and a digital single access point for services. This will help in ensuring the delivery of citizen services and effective implementation of schemes by improving data based administration and required efficiency and productivity.
