On the occasion of 13th Maharudra Yagya and Shiva Mahapuran story organized in Lord Nag Devta temple of village Kyarkuli Bhatta, from Kyarkuli village to Bhatta village, and through Mussoorie Dehradun main road to Lord Nag Devta temple located on Kartmenkanji Road, for the grand Doli and Kalash procession of Lord Nag Devta. performed with traditional musical instruments.

Giving information in this regard, social worker Rakesh Rawat and local resident Jitendra Singh Rawat told that the land of village Kyarkuli Bhatta is the land of Nag Devta who is the presiding deity of this area. In this region, the festival of Nag Panchami is celebrated with great pomp, before which there will be a story of Shiva Purana in the temple for nine days which will end on the day of Nag Panchami. On this occasion, Chief Priest Veer Singh told that nine days before Nag Panchami, a palanquin and a grand Kalash Yatra of Lord Nag Devta is taken out in which devotees of more than a dozen village panchayats are involved and the worship of Nag Devta’s Doli. Taxes earn merit by walking in the procession, while a large number of devotees also come from Mussoorie, Dehradun and other cities. The palanquin will be worshiped for nine days in the Nag temple and after worshiping on the day of Nag Panchami, the palanquin will go back to its original place. On the day of Nag Panchami, Mahashiv Puran Katha will also end and Bhandara will be organized.
