The Chief Minister said that Dehradun is emerging as a medical hub.



On Wednesday, the MoU was signed between Swami Ram Himalayan University, Jollygrant Dehradun and Global Health Alliance, United Kingdom in a program organized online in the presence of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and Union Minister of State for Health Ashwini Choubey. The Global Health Alliance will impart quality training to medical staff, especially paramedical staff, nursing staff through various courses. Similarly, motor bike paramedic training will also be given.
The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand will be greatly benefited by this agreement between the two institutions in the field of health. Motor bike paramedic will be able to provide quick treatment to the patients on the spot in hilly areas. The courses designed by the world-class organization Global Health Alliance will develop the skills of medical and paramedical students here. The youth will also get benefit from the point of employment. The Chief Minister said that Dehradun is emerging as a medical hub. Special attention will have to be paid to the treatment of heart disease and diabetes.
While giving information about the works of Swami Ram Himalayan University, the Vice Chancellor of Swami Ram Himalayan University, Dr. Vijay Dhasmana said that increasing health facilities in Uttarakhand is the first priority. This MoU will enhance the quality of paramedical staff.

British High Commissioner Ms. Jane Thompson in New Delhi, Dr. Raje Narayan of Global Health Alliance, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chief Advisor of UNDP in India, Amit Negi, Secretary, Government of Uttarakhand, SRHU Registrar Dr. Vineet Mahrotra, Dean Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed were present on the occasion. .
