Covid vaccine is being provided to health workers at 34 booths in the state on Monday.

In the vaccination campaign started from January 16, so far, 10514 health workers in the state have got the protective cover against the corona virus by getting vaccinated.
Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Chief Operating Officer, State Covid Control Room, said that a campaign is underway to vaccinate health workers in the first phase as per the guidelines of the Center.

At present, vaccination is going on only in 34 booths. Vaccines are being installed at these booths on Monday as well. The number of health workers who are vaccinated is increasing compared to earlier. The number of vaccination booths will be increased in the state only on the direction of the Center.

So far, 10514 personnel have been vaccinated. A second dose of vaccine will be given within 28 days.

Anoop Nautiyal, founder of the Social Development for Community Foundation, says the number of corona infections is steadily decreasing. The vaccine will prove to be the biggest weapon in this war. He called upon people not to hesitate in applying the vaccine.

The least infected in one day after six months were found:
The lowest corona-infected cases a day have been found since the last six months. Within 24 hours, only 54 infected people have been detected in a Kovid test of 10499 people. No new infected cases have been found in five districts. The total number of infected has increased to 95640. At the same time, the number of active patients has come down to 1725.

Eight people Corona positive:
In Haridwar district, on Sunday, the Health Department sapped 3197 corona suspects. In the district, eight people were found corona infected. CMO Dr. SK Jha informed that at present there are 77 active cases in the district.

Covid care centers have 15 and 62 people in home isolation. He informed that five people have been released from Kovid Care Center and four from Home Isolation. The CMO told that reports of 4763 people are yet to come.
