Coronavirus: Newly infected patients found.

In Uttarakhand, 18 corona-infected patients have died within the last 24 hours. Today 423 newly infected marriages have been found. At the same time, more than twice as many patients have been discharged today as compared to the infected. The total number of infected has increased to 56493.

According to Health Department data, 11586 sample negatives have been received on Thursday. The maximum number of 150 corona patients has been found in Dehradun district. 62 patients have been found in Nainital, 49 in Almora, 37 in Haridwar, 28 in Pauri, 22 in Udham Singh Nagar, 21 in Uttarkashi, 17 in Rudraprayag, 12 in Tehri, 12 in Pithoragarh, eight in Bageshwar, five in Champawat district.

Today 833 patients were discharged in the state. So far 49631 patients have been cured. At the same time, the number of active cases has increased to 5682. The recovery rate of infected cases in the state has been 87.85 percent.

Recovery increased in Uttarakhand, decrease in infection rate:
Unlock-5 has improved state recovery and infection rate. The recovery rate is about 87.0 as the number of cured people is higher than the infected. While the infection rate has come down by seven percent. The infection rate of the state is lower than the national average based on sample examination.

Before Unlock-5, the infection rate in the state was 7.09 percent. Which has now come down to 6.83 percent. At the same time, the recovery rate has increased from 80 percent to 87 percent. Only 13 percent active patients are being treated in the state.

More than 1.30 lakh people have been screened in Unlock-5 implemented since October. 7187 infected have been found in it. On an average, 10,000 samples are being tested every day. On the basis of the investigation, the infection rate has come down due to finding a lower corona patient. The national average infection rate is 8.07 percent.

Strategy made with private hospitals to prevent corona mortality:
To curb the mortality of corona infected patients in the state, the government along with private hospitals strategized on Thursday. Secretary Health Amit Singh Negi directed private hospitals that the deaths of patients should be stopped in any case. For this, according to the treatment protocol issued by the private hospital center and the state government, treat the infected patients. At the same time, doctors and paramedical staff should be trained.

On Thursday, Secretary Health Amit Singh Negi held a meeting through video conferencing with all private hospitals in Dehradun, Haridwar, Udhamsingh Nagar district treating Corona infected patients. In this meeting, feedback was taken from private hospitals on the increasing deaths of Corona infected patients.

The Secretary directed the private hospitals to keep special surveillance on the infected patients on behalf of specialist doctors. In-charge secretary Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey and other health department officials were present in the meeting.
