Corona raised concerns in Uttarakhand, 70-year-old man infected in Dehradun; 11 cases so far

The rising cases of corona in Uttarakhand have raised concerns. A new case of corona infection has come to light in Doon on Thursday. The Covid report of a 70-year-old man resident of Rajpur area has been found positive. The infected elderly man has been admitted to Arogyadham Hospital for treatment, where his condition remains normal at the moment.

Health deteriorated after returning from Delhi
According to the information, the elderly man had recently gone to Delhi to meet his children. A few days after returning from there, he felt fever and weakness. On the advice of relatives, he took medical advice in the OPD of Max Hospital. Doctors got his corona test done as per the clinical protocol, the report of which came positive on Thursday.

Treatment continues under the supervision of doctors
The corona infected patient was admitted to Arogyadham Hospital. The team of doctors is constantly monitoring his health. The hospital administration said that the patient’s condition is stable and there is nothing to worry about.
11 cases so far, seven recovered
A total of 11 cases of corona have been reported in the state so far. According to the Health Department, seven of these patients have fully recovered and returned home. Currently, two patients are undergoing treatment, while two other patients have gone out of the state. The Health Department is alert and is constantly monitoring the suspected patients.
Health Department’s appeal – take precautions
The Health Department has appealed to the citizens to immediately contact the nearest health center if any kind of symptoms appear. Also, it has been advised to follow COVID-appropriate behavior like wearing masks, washing hands and maintaining physical distance.
