Common people will now be able to register their complaints 24 hours on the Chief Minister’s helpline. The facility of web portal, mobile app and audio call recording feature has also been provided in the helpline. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the new format of Chief Minister Helpline. He said that with this the grievances of the common people would be redressed quickly.
In a program organized at the Secretariat on Tuesday, the Chief Minister instructed the officials that the helpline should be reviewed twice a month. He himself will review it in the last week of the month. He said that the general public should be made aware of the Chief Minister’s helpline.
It should be ensured that along with redressal of public problems and complaints, the common people get its benefits. Good governance is the responsibility of the government. Chief Minister Helpline can play an important role in the government’s objective of simplification, solution, disposal and satisfaction.
The Chief Minister directed that it should be ensured that the grievances are redressed at the level at which they are to be redressed. It is not necessary to visit the District Magistrate’s office to solve the problem at Tehsil level. He said that the responsibility should be fixed at the level at which the officers are negligent in this.
He also gave instructions to make the corruption-free 1064 app more powerful. District Magistrate Public Dedication Day will be held on the fourth Tuesday of every month:
The Chief Minister instructed the officers to organize Tehsil Jan Samarpan Diwas on the first and third Tuesday of the month. The problems should be solved on the fourth Tuesday on District Magistrate’s public dedication day. All problems and public problems should be registered online. The problems which are not being resolved at the tehsil and district level, only those complaints should be referred to the Chief Minister’s Office.
