CM T S Rawat: Due to Corona Virus, Landlords will no longer be able to demand rent from students and workers

Corona virus has been confirmed in a young man from Dehradun on Sunday. DG Health has confirmed corona in the patient. Now seven cases of corona have been reported in Uttarakhand. – During the lockdown in Uttarakhand, no landlord will be able to demand rent from the students and workers for a period of one month. Orders have been issued in this regard from the government today. In which orders have been given that workers working in industries and shops will have to pay their wages without any deduction at the prescribed time. On the other hand, educational institutions will not pressurize any studying student. And if anyone does so, action will be taken against him.

During the relaxation of the lockdown in Almora, the shells were rebuilt in the market by SDM Seema Vishwakarma and police personnel and traders who found violating the lockdown were taken to the police station. The administration in Haridwar is not able to fully comply with the lockdown. There are still hundreds of men visible on the streets.

– Pithoragarh has vegetable and grocer shops open. On Monday too, few people are seen in shops for shopping. A few customers are coming to the shops of mohallas too. In view of the difficulties faced during the operation of transport vehicles, the administration has decided to keep the tire puncture workshop open from today. Workshops will be open on different routes of the city. Lohaghat market is much less crowded than usual days. There is no movement in Ramnagar. The shopkeepers are sitting with their hands folded. Milk consumption has also reduced here.

– Lockdown was announced in Nepal for the next 08 days from 30 March on Sunday night by Dr. Yuvraj Khatibadale, spokesman of the Government of Nepal. Earlier the lockdown was done from 23 to 29 March. All swing bridges will also be closed in this lockdown. The lockdown in Nepal may increase the difficulties of Nepalese laborers trapped in India. Currently around 600 Nepalese laborers in Pithoragarh district are waiting for the opening of international suspension bridges along the border.

– Due to non-availability of protection against the corona virus, the garbage workers in Dehradun’s Sahastradhara protested. He demanded his protection and said that he should be given the necessary goods to avoid the virus.
