CM Trivendra’s Directive to Cooperative Banks, Allow Farmers to Pay Loan for three Months

The state government has given a three-month relief to farmers who have taken loans for agricultural purposes from cooperative banks of Uttarakhand. Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has instructed the management of all cooperative banks that farmers should be given three months time to repay the loan.



About fifty thousand farmers in the state have taken loans from cooperative banks under various schemes. These farmers are being given relief from the month of April for loan repayment. The farmers will now have time till July to repay the next three installments of the loan. During this period, the situation related to interest on loan installment has not been cleared.

Fifty lakhs given in CM Relief Fund:
Zone Incharge Harbhajan Singh of Sant Nirankari Mandal has given fifty lakh rupees to the Chief Minister Relief Fund for prevention of corona infection. Harbhajan said that if required, the mission can also give its satsang buildings in the state for isolation.
