CM Dhami will participate in the meeting of NITI Aayog and Council of Chief Ministers, leaves for Delhi

There is a preparation to strongly present the side of the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand in the 10th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog to be held in New Delhi on Saturday. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami can raise the issue of expansion of infrastructure development works and construction cost in the meeting. Chief Minister Dhami will leave for a three-day Delhi tour on Friday. Important meetings are to be held in New Delhi on Saturday and Sunday. The Governing Council of NITI Aayog will meet on Saturday. Representatives from various states of the country will attend this meeting to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister will present the state’s side regarding protective measures in disaster-sensitive Uttarakhand. The Council of Chief Ministers will meet in New Delhi on Sunday. Chief Minister Dhami will attend the meeting. Chief Minister Dhami will put forth the expectations of the state along with the steps being taken by Uttarakhand in establishing coordination between various states in the meeting. To participate in the meeting, Chief Minister Dhami will leave for Delhi from Jolly Grant Airport on Friday morning and will reach Uttarakhand Niwas in New Delhi. He may meet Union Ministers on Friday.
