CM Dhami will not be able to cast his own vote in the by-election

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is contesting the by-election from Champawat assembly, but CM Dhami himself will not be able to cast his vote in the polling to be held on May 31. Because he has not got his vote transferred to Champawat. He has put a certificate of voting in Khatima in the nomination form.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami contested the assembly elections from Khatima assembly seat but was defeated by Congress candidate Bhuvan Kapri by a huge margin. After getting the majority in the assembly elections, BJP re-elected CM Dhami as the Chief Minister, but within six months he has to become a member of the Legislative Assembly by holding a by-election. Regarding this, Champawat MLA Kailash Gahatodi resigned from the membership of the Legislative Assembly, vacating the seat for him. Now CM Dhami is contesting the by-election from Champawat seat. He also filed his nomination papers. He was giddy with the crowd of thousands enrolling in the nomination.
Workers, including senior BJP leaders, are busy campaigning day by day for the polling to be held on May 31. He is appealing to everyone to vote in favor of CM Dhami but CM Dhami will not be able to exercise his franchise in his own by-election. He did not get his vote transferred.

In the nomination paper made on May 9, CM Dhami has attached the certificate of voting at number 574 in part number 100 of Khatima. On the other hand, independent candidate Himanshu Gadkoti will also not be able to cast his vote. His vote is at number 851 of Takana part number 37 of Pithoragarh district.
CM Dhami will come to Tamli on May 15

After the nomination paper of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is found correct in the investigation, he will come to Tamli area on May 15 to spread his campaign and will go to the public and seek votes. This information has been given by Chief Minister’s representative Kailash Gahtodi. He told that the CM will rest in Tamli in the night.
